KT canvases - My Interpretation
First I looked through the pieces she has done to find some inspiration to create a similar piece of artwork. The first piece i created was an acrylic painting on a canvas of a range of flowers, with a pink theme, with a white background. I then drew on top of my painting using a black acrylic paint pen. However, I didn't like the look of this as I hadn't done enough flowers or made them big enough to fill the canvas meaning there was a quite a lot of the blank canvas showing.

The second piece I attempted was another floral piece but this time I made sure to make the flowers a significant size and to make a quantity to cover the whole canvas. I used the same size canvas as the first, but painted it black to give it a black background and a darker theme then the first. I used a pink and orange theme for the flowers and a range of green leaves/stems. I also used a black acrylic to outline the flowers and the leaves, and a white to give my flowers some highlights.

The third piece I created in the style of KT canvases was a bookshelf with flowers on the books and the shelf itself. I painted the canvas black then painted two brown shelves with one dividing piece of wood toward the right-hand side of the canvas. Next I painted a range of books in a range of colours with some simple designs on the spine of the books, after this I used acrylic paint markers to paint a range of flowers on their own or in clusters around the books and on the shelf.
