Experimenting with Collage - NOT TRANSFERED

 Wednesday 8th September 

I have sourced some newspapers and some free food magazines from Tesco as it is quite uncommon for people to buy and own magazines or newspapers on a regular basis and I have also have two frames to use to make my collage pieces on and in. All i need to get to start a collage is some form of glue to stick the materials down and together.

For my first collage I plan to use to use newspaper to reinforce the base of the frame I am using.

I have sourced a paper Mache adhesive 

Wednesday 13th September

I have started my collage, I ripped up numerous newspapers into pieces, I then mixed some of the paper Mache adhesive with water mixing continuously until it became a smooth texture without any lumps.

I then applied the adhesive to the pieces of newspaper using a paintbrush and then stuck them to the paper base of the frame. I did this until I covered the full front of the frame. To reinforce the frame I also added two layers of newspaper to the back of my frame.
